About

While there is nothing worse than a self-proclaimed nickname, The Unfun Friend is a self-proclaimed persona that I have ultimately adopted after being consistently referred to as “the conservative friend.” People typically think “conservative” is less offensive than the “B” word (even worse than bitchyboring.) Spontaneity is not my strong suit, and sometimes my practicality gets the best of me. Although I may not be entertaining enough to star in a reality television show, I am witty enough to tell a story or two. Before we begin, here are a few disclaimers:

  1. I don’t believe in corduroy pants.
  2. I sometimes find unchoreographed public dancing to be extremely stressful.
  3. I only eat cooked sushi.
  4. The terms “fashionista” and “free spirit” should never be used in heavy rotation.
  5. I find light rock music to be acceptable if and when you are in your car alone after dark.

If you find any of these to be offensive, perhaps we should nip this relationship in the bud.

xx,

 The Unfun Friend

Wha wha WHAT?! Hey, I sometimes wear corduroy pants but mostly cause I like the sound it makes. I like to record and sample the corduroy pants for my Jewish rap persona I’ve dubbed, “Kaptain Krunk.” I didn’t fine your disbelief in corduroy to be offensive, however. In fact, I find you to be witty, dry and hilarious. I’m a follower….

Hi! I just discovered your blog, and I must say I freaking love it. (And I never add the word freaking to anything, so you know how much I love this!) I find your healthy dose of reality very entertaining!
